Nicole comes to SDFCU from NextMark Credit Union, where she was the executive vice president and chief information officer. In that capacity, Nicole was instrumental in overseeing regulatory compliance and improving risk management tactics. Nicole possesses more than fifteen years of experience in risk assessment and mitigation. She has proven to be adept at navigating intricate risk settings and putting efficient risk management frameworks in place. Nicole shares her knowledge of risk management techniques on panels and conferences, and she is an active member of multiple business associations.
As Nicole assumes her new position as Chief Risk Officer at SDFCU, she will have the authority to supervise the credit union’s risk management procedures, manage information technology and security, guarantee regulatory compliance, and put effective risk mitigation plans in place. Her analytical methodology and strategic vision will yield insightful information that will support well-informed decision-making and preserve the credit union’s financial health.
